That’s me pictured above deciding what season it is; it’s been Spring, and Summer, then a bit of heavy rain, and then raincoats off and sunhats on again for about six weeks now. I grabbed a rare bit of sunshine to have a cuppa on the porch with a sunhat before the next downpour. So, here are some highlights of the week on Thread in photos: Episode 10.
The amazing Kat Gee, owner and designer of Kagi Jewellery, at the Kagi ‘Manhattan collection’ launch, aptly held on the rooftop of Rydges Hotel. After a couple of Cosmopolitans, you could almost believe the Auckland skyline was the New York one. The jewellery collection is the real thing, though, with ranges inspired by iconic actresses such as Marilyn Monroe, Twiggy, and Audrey Hepburn. The first range to drop is Eternity in mid January, then Manhattan and Black Luxe in February, and Acorn drops and Pearl Orbit in March.
Below: the cake pops and cute acorn earrings were amongst the amazing Kagi Jewellery media event treats. There are also Aquamarine blue-coloured acorns in the range ‘Little Drops of Hope’ which will be fundraising for Child Cancer Foundation, Kagi Jewellery’s chosen charity. Wow so lucky – the very lovely Mitchell, owner of AGATHA Paris NZ Australia visited with the brand new Agatha Paris perfume for me. There are three fragrances to choose from, named for streets in three languages. Pictured below is AGATHA STREET in rose gold which epitomises romantic glamour with roses and champaca with soft musky and sweet woody notes. There’s also RUE AGATHA with cheeky glamour, and VIA AGATHA with voluptuous glamour.
The branding of AGATHA Paris is so on point- even Scotty dog USB and paper clips! Love the new AGATHA Paris perfume. To see it instore see www.agatha.co.nz for locations.
