Smooth operator: Prevage anti-aging wrinkle smoother

Wrinkles are still women’s number one ageing enemy, and for those not wanting to go down the injectables path, due to the high cost and chemical invasiveness of a medical procedure, a high quality cosmeceutical is a great alternative. One I personally used over the years, is Prevage, and the top selling Elizabeth Arden brand has now launched their very latest addition to the family. This new smooth operator is Prevage Anti-aging Wrinkle Smoother which, unlike many long term skincare products, offers an immediate relief to wrinkles with a two-fold approach: firstly, smoothing facial lines with silicone powders, and secondly, utilising polymers to tighten the skin.

Results from a US clinical study of 29 women aged 39-57 after a single use found 100% of women reported a significant reduction in crow’s feet, lines, and wrinkles, with 90% of women showing a reduction in the size and severity of forehead wrinkles and also in nasolabial lines.

To apply, squeeze a pea-sized amount onto your fingertip and smooth in the direction of the wrinkle, topically applying to the actual area of the wrinkle only as opposed to your whole face. Use this last, after your serums and moisturisers have completely absorbed and are dry. If you’re using it in the morning, allow it to completely dry before applying your makeup.

Anti-aging Wrinkle Smoother retails for $119 from 18th May 2015 from Elizabeth Arden counters.
