To celebrate the launch of their new home products, LG hosted a Michael Meredith Masterclass at The Loft this week as we watched him create dishes with flair. Life’s good, indeed…

The evening heralded the advent of a cool (excuse the pun) new fridge that has a door-within-a-door and a massive 84" TV. Both were generously donated by LG in an auction with proceeds to Auckland City Mission who will also be cooking this Christmas- but for the hungry and lonely of Auckland so they get to enjoy a Christmas meal together. Thanks, LG! Michael Meredith, the famous chef of eponymously-titled restaurant Merediths, also donated a night at his restaurant which went for around $900 (and the TV for $800 and fridge for $2,500.) That will help lots of folk at City Mission.

Michael Meredith demonstrated three dishes; a salmon and egg starter in asparagus, a venison second plate, and a berry and sponge dessert which puffed up using a LG microwave.
