Waughs 20th Anniversary Celebration

This afternoon I was fortunate to attend a celebration at Waughs in Dunedin. The store has been open since 1990 and it was time to reflect on the past and look into the future.

I was also happy to meet the lovely and talented Tamsin Cooper (www.tamsincooper.co.nz) and have a quick chat to her about upcoming events.

Guests were treated to a glass of bubbles and delectable cupcakes made by the talented Kate McKinlay (www.cakesbykate.co.nz) and gathered in the basement to discuss and view examples of the twenty year journey Diann, Alistair, Amanda Waugh and staff have had in their women’s fashion boutique store.

At 1pm a parade of models from Ali McD agency www.alimcd.co.nz walked in various labels stocked in the shop. Waughs stocks: Caroline Sills, Obi, Ashley Fogel, Beth Ellery, Vaughn Geeson, Camille Howie and Kathryn Wilson Shoes.

Waughs have just launched their website, so check it out at www.waughs.co.nz for some online inspiration and potential purchasing pleasure.

Thanks Waugh’s for your hospitality and we wish you all the best for the next 20 years.
