Food, fashion and wine combine this September at Britomart’s ‘A Taste of Fashion’ Progressive Lunch, an indulgent event that sees five of New Zealand’s top designers share their new Spring/Summer collections at some of Auckland’s finest dining destinations from 12pm, Friday 18 September.
The stylish soirée will begin at 12pm with champagne, canapés and a show by boutique brand Taylor at level five of the Seafarers Members’ Club. The first of five delicious designer courses, guests will then be led down to Ostro City Terrace where they will enjoy the second show from Kathryn Wilson. Following this they will be broken into smaller groups and whisked around Britomart for three more courses and designer shows: WORLD at Ostro, a Trelise Cooper showcase at Ortolana and Zambesi at Ebisu.
The lunch will run for approximately three hours.
All looks showcased at ‘A Taste of Fashion’ will be from the designers’ current collections and available to buy that day at the Britomart boutiques. A live-action catalogue of sorts, guests are able to watch the show, note down what takes their fancy and then shop the look that afternoon.
Britomart’s resident beauty experts Ryder, Dry & Tea and M.A.C Cosmetics will lead the hair and makeup direction for the shows.
A designer degustation like no other, ‘A Taste of Fashion’ returns to Britomart this September. See www.britomart.org for more details.
