Maxfactor Xperience Volumising Mascara is a lightweight volumizing formula with a iFX brush for delivering the right amount of product.
What we like: Our reviewer said, "A great mascara, delivering length and volume without clumping or flaking."
Blinc is a bit different in that it is a tube rather than a paint. It’s the original tubing mascara on the scene, which has since had pretenders enter the market, such as L’Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes and Too Faced’s Lash Injection amongst others. What we like: Blinc is the original and the best I’ve used of this type. It won’t ever smudge as it’s not a paint; it comes off – resembling little spider legs – on a cotton pad with lots of warm water. Love the cool bullet casing.
Inika Mineral Mascara RRP $40.99 Made with certified organic castor seed oil and jojoba seed oil, this pure mineral enriched formula is perfect for those with sensitive eyes as it is non-toxic and non-irritating.
What we like: Free from synthetic chemicals and harmful ingredients, and can be used with false lashes, unlike some chemical based mascaras which deteriorate both the false lashes and the glue that holds them in place.
Benefit Beyond Mascara (approx $45) has the tagline, "They’re Real!" and the stats that 94% saw dramatic length and volume and 100% saw long-wearing results.
What we like: Staggered bristles grab lashes close to the root to boost length and volume. Features a saucy print campaign with a model with incredible cleavage taking a lie detector test to assert how real they are!
Modelco FibreLash Brush on False Lashes in a 3-phase system: a coat of extension mascara, a coat of ModelCo’s brush-on lash fibres, then another generous coating of black extension mascara.
What we like: The spokesperson is Danni Minogue.
M.A.C. Haute & Naughty A two-in-one mascara that lets you choose if you want lashes to be naturally defined, or instantly combed and loaded for full-on drama. Easy to use dual-wiper system allows this lightweight formula to go on either way. One wiper refines the application for a clean sweep, while the other loads the lashes for greater impact.
What we like: the two sizes of brush for every eventuality. Lends itself well to light or heavy day-to-night usage.
