I first tried Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics at a hairsalon, and then later at a spa. The range is also available retail, so you can enjoy using it at home. Youngblood have just launched a cream blush, Luminous Crème Blush ($59.90), and shiny lip gloss, Mighty Shiny Lip Gel. ($56.90)
I’m wearing the Luminous Crème Blush now. It’s a powdery finish cream with the subtlest shimmer to it. It has an oil-free formula with Vitamins C and E, Allantoin – a moisturizing botanical that is an effective anti-irritant, and the emolliant Jojoba Esters.
The blush is available in six shades that are suitable for all skin tones; Champagne Life (a bubbly taupe with a shimmery sheen); Taffeta (a lustrous bubble gum pink); Rose Quartz (a silvery petal-pink); and Tropical Glow (a peachy-pink tone with golden shimmer). Plum Satin (a rose-berry shade with a hint of shimmer) and Pink Cashmere (a lively, matte carnation pink).
Youngblood has also released these Mighty Shiny Lip Gels.
Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics Mighty Shiny Lip Gels are a great way to get a clear wash of colour and loads of shine with a vanilla scent. They are free of petroleum, fragrance, mineral oil, and are cruelty-free.
“We worked on the formula until we had a non-sticky application that moisturized and felt great on lips,” says Pauline Youngblood, founder and president of Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics. “The juicy, transparent shades also look pretty and natural on everyone.”
The Lip Gels are available in seven shades: Confessed (a sheer watermelon-red); Revealed (a sheer peach-pink with gold shimmer); Stripped (clear with iridescent shimmer); Bared (a sheer soft peach); Exposed (sheer grape); Displayed (a sheer orange-red with gold shimmer); and Unveiled (a sheer, shimmery bright pink).
