We love: the stylish new look of Macpac! The classic New Zealand ‘great outdoors’ clothing brand for men, women and children is really well-made yet looks fresh and you may be surprised at how fashionable the functional clothing brand actually is. I attended a media night this month to hear about the forty-year-old homegrown brand, and try on some of their pieces. I fell in love with the Uber light down wear range that has technical level fabrications but in an easy-to-wear fashion collection that’s as at home in the high street as the high mountains. It is warm – yet very light- and the quality is top of the line.
Mac in your pack
The long jacket pictured, folds up into a small light roll bag. It’s perfect for travel or outdoors – or just in the back of your car for cold days.
Parka Posey
I love this navy colour with hexagon blue lining print, that goes beautifully with jeans and boots. They aren’t cheap but they will last and you know what they say; if you want to save money, don’t buy a cheap jacket.
Streets or peaks
I took it into the wilds of the suburban jungle in my all-terrain heels. Thank heavens we made it out alive thanks to my keen Bear Grylls skillset and Google Maps on my iPhone.
Not so big Mac
HOW CUTE are the kids Macpac jackets? They are like Mini-me jackets for your children. I love this blue print jacket that matches the lining of the women’s coat.
Pac light
Whether you are a camper, a tramper, or a coffee-drinker (or a bit of a combo of all three, like me) you will also fall in love with the stylish new look of Macpac.
