Bagabond is a new label from two Auckland women which launched in Herne Bay with a flash mob in December, releasing a line of t-shirts from its ‘Loved Up collection, where $3 from every tee goes to children’s charity KidsCan…

The label is the creation of Antoinette Tahere and Jane Robinson, who invited over 200 attendees to their launch party with a flash mob instead of a catwalk, showcasing their full line of ‘Loved Up’ tees.

The idea behind Bagabond is supporting disadvantaged kiwi kids with love, via donations to KidsCan and their aptly named ‘Loved Up’ collection of tanks and tees which is available online at www.bagabond.co.nz.

"200,000 New Zealand children live in poverty so $3 of every Bagabond item sold is donated to KidsCan. Everything Bagabond in 100% locally supplied, from designers to manufacturers, supporting local trade, and the global environment" say the designers.

They are planning more collections and a kids line in the pipeline.
