The designers behind twenty-seven names, Anjali Stewart and Rachel Easting, are known for not doing things the same as everyone else.
They have a great fondness for Harry Potter, and obviously have a rather wicked sense of humour.
Instead of a catwalk show, they instead chose to show photographs of the collection in the Hopkinson Gallery in Cross Street off K Rd in Auckland. And then fill the gallery with lots of people they like.
It felt far more like one giant party tonight, than a serious release of a collection for winter 2012.
Loved the prints and the stripes, and we’re looking forward to seeing the full collection soon.
